4kg Music Spotlight: SepOOky

The first installment of a series of posts focusing on 4kg’s awesome music!

SepOOky is the theme used in the main menu when you first start the game. I always felt it was a slow-moving, but feel-good track that reminded me of the carefree days of summer. It may start a little weakly, but it quickly ramps up into one of my favorite chiptune tracks.

Like all of the music in 4kg, SepOOky was not made by me and was a track I found on the awesome site, 8bitcollective. SepOOky is by Hell-Obit, who have a total of three whole tracks in 4kg! Obviously I really dig their music.

Although I won’t be giving away the whole soundtrack on this blog before release (some themes have much more impact hearing them in-game for the first time), you can expect more of these posts as we get closer to release. (And after release, I’ll post the whole thing here to download.) Look forward to it!
